“Compounding the Complexities Of Family Violence with Immigration”

$5Participants will have a better idea of:
- The complexity of domestic violence cases in Immigrant and Refugee populations
- How the process of migration, immigration status, culture and acculturation process may impact family relationships and domestic violence
- How those same factors can impact what options are available for some as related to their immigration status
- Exploration of what those individuals may feel are appropriate options for them based on their cultural perspective
A presentation by: Janna Mulholland and Mariel Ansion Family Counsellors and Cross Cultural Counselling with Catholic Social Services, Immigration and Settlement Services The presentation will be followed by Q & A.
$5 paid at the door (Cash or Company cheque only)
For the convenience of registrants, a light lunch is provided.
