Family Violence Prevention Month Proclamation 2017

Join us on November 1st for the Family Violence Prevention Month Proclamation.

Our speakers will include:

Michael Cameron- A Canadian author, entrepreneur, philanthropist and advocate against Gender-Based Violence. He is an active philanthropist, partnering with organizations such as Stop Abuse in Families (SAIF) society, and the White Ribbon Campaign. He is the founding Race Director of the Ignore No More Run for Respect, an awareness building, fund-raising event focusing on engaging men and boys to open the discussion on healthy relationships.

Michael Hoyt- A City of Edmonton Community Building Social Worker with the Family Violence Prevention Team. Michael’s work focuses on engaging men and boys and works with many community partners locally, in the capital region and across the province.
